I downloaded gimp today, and I have MS Paint, so any advice on this would also be very helpful. Once you understand how tiles work, it's easy to make your own. You'll find that you can usually make your own customized tileset by mixing and matching items you need from set to set. In the case of marked streets, you may have to do your own artwork. I have a nice City tileset with asphalt, traffic lights and electric poles but it's for rm2k3. If you want an original score, we might be able to make an arrangement.
